The saleries for medical experts are very good and satisfying. In addition due to a very exact working system in the medical proffesions, it does not take a long time that you admit yourself to your new work place. Other reasons are stable political situation, high quality of life, good work-life balance, reasonable cost of living, beautiful nature, classic culture, great public transportation system and an international comunity

The first step is to make a strong decision wether you want to move to Germany or not. If the answer is yes, the next step is to start learning German. After that you need to translate your academic and work documents in the german language. After the translation of the documents you must start the recognation of your university documents, if you have studied in a country out of EU. The recognation procedure is somehow complicated and may take some months. But you must do it whilst still you are in your country of residence. After finishing the recognation procedure, you book a visa appointment at the german embassy in the country your are living in and reques a visa.

After receiving visa you need to book a flight to Germany and try to find a good house for yourself. Of course finding a house from abroad is pretty hard, but you can try it. If you could not find a good house, you can book a hotel for the firs days of your stay in Germany and then look for a house in person. If you have studied in EU, you must start continue your german classes and get the C1 level ( Fachsprache ) and then apply for a job by the hospitals. But if have studied out of EU, you should at the first reach the C1 german language level and then take some practical and theoretical courses related to your occupation and after finishing the courses and receiving your job permit, start to apply for your favorite job by the hospitals.

There is not any age limit for you to apply for a work visa, but we suggest that if your are older than 60, it might not be so reasonable to leave your county, because you are very close to the age of retirement and after passing so many steps to immigrate to an another country and it may be too late for stablishing a new life abroad.

It is defenittely allowed to take your family to Germany, but you must enter to Germany at first, finish your qualification programms( if you come from a non-EU country ), start working as a highly qualified medical worker such as a doctor or a nurse and then apply for the visa for your partner and children. Of course your children should not be older that 18 at the time they are requesting a visa by the german embassy. Basically you must work 3 months in Germany and the you can apply for your family’s visa.

If you have studied in a non-EU country, you must take apart in the qualification programms during the first months of your residence in Germamy. After finishing these courses your educational background will be qualified and it means that your are allowed to work in Germany as a medical expert. These programms take average 6 months and you need to pay the fees yourself. How much do the programms cost, it depends on your course of study in your country and the years of your working experiences.

Yes, you can work at the same time as you are doing the qualification courses, but not longer than 10 hours a week. Of course your language knowledge must be at least B2 so  that your employer can trust you that you can do your tasks as well as possible and do not have problems communicating your colleagues or the other people.
